The meeting covered the issues of restorative justice as well as making deprivation of liberty a measure of last resort. There were presentations offering an overview of restorative justice mechanisms, law, and policy in each of the three countries, as well an exchange of best practices regarding alternatives to the deprivation of liberty, with a focus on social inclusion.
